Job Description:
Product Development Analyst
Ratliff
Associates, recruiters of Accounting and IT professionals is
immediately seeking a Product Development Analyst for a rapidly growing
Fort Worth Medical Reimbursement Company. The company uses
expertise in Mdeicare, Medicaid, and Tricare/CAMPUS programs, as well
as sophisticated data analytics, to assist hospitals and other care
centers throughout the U.S. with reimbursements. Dynamic

General Summary
As part of a small team the Product
Development Analyst will help lead the research, analysis, development,
and assist with the launch of new products of partnership
opportunities. The Product Development Analyst will also review
and assist with the development of enhancements to existing products
and internal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist
Director in identification and sizing of new opportunities
- Define
potential product concepts
- Conduct
market testing
- Analyze
market competitive landscape
- Conduct
industry and government regulation research
- Develop
pro-forma financial projections for potential opportunities
- Assist
in product development, partner, and M&A due diligence efforts
- Assist
in business and software requirements documentation
- Assist
sales in product demos and serve as a technical liaison between Product
Management and Sales teams
- Decide
research scope and methodology for opportunity assessment projects and
assignments
- Provide
recommendations on whether company should purse a particular new
opportunity, partnership and analyze build vs. buy decisions
- Provide
recommendations on product pricing and strategy
- Provide
recommendations about business process, work flow, and research
methodology
- Light
to medium travel is required to visit customers, industry conferences,
sales meetings, and M&A candidate due diligence
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years minimum experience in Healthcare
industry, working specifically with Medicare and Medicaid payer
reimbursement for large acute care hospitals
- Bachelor
degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relation area of study
required
- Direct
experience dealing with hospital clients and their management team in a
sales and operaitonal environment
- Direct
experience dealing with Medicare and Medicaid agencies
- Experience dealing with
Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC)
- Business operations
orientation with experience in automating and streamlining operational
workflow
- Experience dealing with
internal and external executive level customers
- Intermediate to advance MS
Office skills with an emphasis in Excel
- Medicare Common Working
File/Direct Data Entry research experience preferred
Compensation:
Salary Range: $70-75k
Candidates must be Permanent
