Product Manager, Post Acute Care Billing

immediately seeking
a Product
Manager for the Post
Acute Care Billing Services
business line for a rapidly growing Fort
Worth Medical Reimbursement Company. The
company uses expertise in Medicare,
Medicaid, and Tri care/CHAMPUS
programs, as well as sophisticated data
analytics, to assist hospitals and other care centers throughout the
U.S. with
reimbursements. Dynamic environment, great

General Summary
This
position is responsible for establishing and attaining specific
objectives
defined by the strategy set by the CEO and Board of Directors. This
position
will report on and be held accountable for the operational and
financial
performance of the Transfer Diagnostic Related Group (DRG) service line
of
business.

Responsibilities:

Optimization
of operational workloads and deadline
prioritization
-
Participation
in client relationship management
-
Identification
and prioritization of development initiatives
- Evaluation of the
dept. for operational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and
employee succession planning
-
Annual
Assessment of revenue forecasting
- Monthly
tracking and reporting of financial results to Executive Staff
- On-going
capacity planning, budgeting and quality of earnings assessments that
are reported to Executive Staff and board of Directors
- Responsible
for maintaining working knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Some
travel required
Requirements:
- Bachelors
Degree required in business, finance, accounting, healthcare
administration or similar field
- Minimum 7
to 10 Years of Healthcare industry experience, specifically with
Medicare and Medicaid payer reimbursement and revenue cycles with a
mid-sized to large organization
- Minimum 2
to 3 years specifically working with Medicare Post Acute Care Transfer
claim reviews
- Business
operations orientation with experience in streamlining operational
workflow
- Microsoft
Office / Advanced capabilities with a heavy emphasis in Access and
Excel
- Ability
to build and lead teams in "pariticipatory" decition making environment
- Comprehensive
knowledge and experience working with Medicare common Working
file/Direct Data Entry system
- Knowledge
of coding and reimbursement terminology including DRG, ICD-9,
HCPCS and discharge status codes
- Ability
to interact with IT to support production needs
- Strong
verbal and written communication skills
- Some
travel required
Compensation:
Targeted salary range is
negotiable based upon experience, education and past earning history.

Candidates must able to commute to
North Ft. Worth on a daily basis and be Permanent
Residents or US Citizens as no sponsorship
or relocation will be provided.
