Senior Windows System Administrator
Ratliff
Associates, recruiters of Accounting and IT professionals, is
immediately seeking
a Senior Windows System Administrator
for a rapidly growing Fort
Worth Medical Reimbursement Company. The
company uses expertise in Medicare,
Medicaid, and Tricare/CHAMPUS programs, as well as sophisticated data
analytics, to assist hospitals and other care centers throughout the
U.S. with

General Summary
The
Senior Windows System Administrator will hold responsibility for
maintaining the viability and security of servers supporting the
company's email, print, and backup functions.
Responsibilities:

Perform
system administration responsibilities in a Microsoft AD network
environment consisting of 2003/2008 physical and virtual servers.

Monitor
critical system alerts, troubleshoot and resolve complex systems
hardware and software problems across multiple physical locations
including Exchange, DNS, HGCP, SQL, File and Print servers, Backup
servers with tape library, Terminal Servers and many other servers and
systems that support daily operaitons in both virtual (with VMWare) and
physical forms.

Analyze
and diagnose system failures, recover and restore operating systems and
file systems, user data nd other critical information.

Apply and
manage Windows security controls and patches. Conducts
research and debugging and provides quality assurance
- Report
planned and unplanned system events and activities
- Monitor
system availability, load, and capacity
- Identify
requirements for upgrades in storage and/or processor capacity or
system software releases
- Schedule
and execute regular system management activities, including system
reboot, backup, recovery archiving, load and capacity
- Install
and configure Windows operating system, upgrades and patches
- Install,
configure and support commercial off the shelf products
- Hardware
and software configuration management for in-house development software
products
- The
initiation, coordination and closure of preventive and corrective
maintenance activities.
- Install
voice/data cabling and administrate voice/data telco products (PBX,
VOIP< PBX, LEC WAN connections).
- Manage
physical perimeter security system (badges, alarm systems)
- Must be
prepared to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors
of Science preferred or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years
experience performing system administration responsiblities of Windows
Servers in a distributed and virtual environment
- Experience
configuring and administrating Windows security
- Experience
managing MS Exchange 2007/2010 environment
- Strong
communication skills
- Experience
with MS System Center, AppAssure, Blackberry Enterprise Server and SAN
configuration/administration a plus
- Experience
managing Cisco or Watchguard network utilities and Linux will be very
helpful
Compensation:
Targeted salary range is $80k to
$95k based upon skill level, education and past earning history.

Candidates must able to commute to
North Ft. Worth on a daily basis and be Permanent
Residents or US Citizens as no sponsorship
or relocation will be provided.
